I NEED A NEW TREESTAND

I have 2 summit open shots one that fold flat and one that does not. They're all right for a couple hours but for an all day sit they aint that comfortable.I been looking at the 180 but it weighs 21 or 22 pounds compare to the 15 pound openshot i use now. What would be a good all day treestand?

Tree Lounge with a bow platform. Sit all day and not leave with a sore back.

I love my gorillas, but the really comfy ones are in the 21 22 lb range. As I see you are in the market for a climber, I am not much help there, I prefer the hang on's.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

I bought a Treewalker two years ago at a sportsman's expo, best investment I have ever made.....Very light, comfortable, and easy to use...Very sturdy and safe and has a huge platform....Can climb any tree in the woods without worrying about slipping....I had a summit bushmaster before this, so I wanted something I could feel safer in...This is definetely it!!

Lone Wolf Alfa sit down climber, 17 lbs, has a built in bow holder, that stands the bow up between your legs, easy reach sitting or standing, quiet climbing.  John

chicken - if you want a quick fix for now, get yourself a footrest, a platform pad, and a backrest.  I actually have a cushy doormat on my platform.   Don't have a footrest on my openshot.  Made one for my loggy.. it's great.. takes the strain off yer lower back.  I actually use one of these for my openshot.

I like my Summit Bushmaster but, I'd sure like the backrest of the Viper on some of my longer sits.  I can still doze off in the Bushmaster for extended periods though when the eyes get a little tired.
