Sandy/Stoneboro Lake

Does anyone know what kind of fish are to be had from this lake in Sandy Lake, PA.  Specifically, I'm wonderin' if there are any carp in this little lake?
Thanks.

Tons of carp in there.  Used to go to the swim beach and feed the carp bread by hand when I was a youngin.  My grandfather and his buddies used to do real well on big panfish in the spring when they were still alive.  Tough the fish that lake during the summer with all the pleasure boaters zooming around.  Mornings, evenings and night fishing is probably your best bet until it gets too cold to water ski.

OK, thanks for the info.  I know that shoreline access is limited around that lake, but I will have to scout it out a bit more and see what I can find as far as fishing spots go.  I'm looking to do some carpin' there come Oct.

When Homer W. was alive a few years ago he was charging $1.00 to launch a boat. Julie, Homers daughter is running it now and I'm sure it is still reasonable. Its a beautiful lake and the last I talked to Julie she was trying to keep it running like Homer did.

Julie, Julie, Julie!  She tried to sell it, couldn't raise the millions so is now running it.  Nice girl, hope she can keep it open.
