Lake Somerset

Was out there today and just got completely skunked. Was curious if anyone else has fished there lately. Went there and fathers day and did pretty good. Fish for 4 hours today with absolutely nothing. Tried crawlers, crankbaits, jigheads, pretty much everything in my box. Did see a nice usky jump clean out of the water though. A little chilly and windy, but still a good excuse to keep from working around the house.

Thanks for the info, is the lake normally decent? I caught a few wlleyes the last time there, on the smaller side though. Also, do you ever fish Quemahoning Reservoir? I think i may play hookie friday to try it out.

Once the water warms up in spring until it gets very cold in the fall IMO. I find it to be one of the better Channel Catfish (caught quite a few in the 10lb + range) lakes but alot of folks are usually after them but are going about it wrong. Then for some reason the fish shut off during ice fishing.
