Cross Creek or Cedar Creek

Thinking about taking the kids to one of these two places.  Any been there lately.  Kids are under 7 and would be happy just with some steady action.   Any other suggestions not far from the S. Hills?

    Cedar is beautiful surroundings and a chance to catch a good fish...as long as the kids can wade about a foot of water in. River is right down at the mo and in conditions that I have done best on. Make sure you go down to the bottom car park and fish the point closest to the channel.

    I would pass at cross creek, not much shore line-You really need a boat.
    Cedar is very nice but you have to be able to wade. I personally like Cedar for a quick fishing spot. it is also great for a walk.

    Have they bee3n catching anything at the barge?  Went there last year with them and not one bite.
