new salmon pix

not bad lately-
tough ride but OK fishing
the rain def moved the fish today!

    Nice pics, but seriously do people keep and eat those mud sharks???

    Cut their gills and bleed them out - keep them COLD (preferably on ice)!
    When you fillet them eliminate the belly far and dark meat on the skin side!
    You should note quite an improvement!

    jon,I did all that years ago,they were still Mud Sharks,awful tasting.
    I just don't bother anymore,it is n't worth the hassle...it's all C & R for me.

    august and early september kings in the river are good too.  defintiely blled and keep on ice for a day or two is best for sure.
