Rod Repair

Anybody know of a good repair man in the Beaver valley area ? A buddy of mine broke his noodle rod down to the 1st guide. I was unable to put a new tip on it for him, no room. I really don't want to cut it off below that and can not remove the guide without damaging the rod. Thanks, You can shoot me a pm if you want

It snapped off right above the last guide before the tip, there are several inches missing plus the tip.

hmmm thats usually a pretty hard repair there....

if the manufactured rod is a decent one I would call the manufacturer to see if they will send you the top section only, if not, find the top piece of a blank and let me know if u want guides/re-wrapp on it.

If that doesn't work talk to Skip, he might be able to fix that, I am not sure.

Thanks, I think I'm just going to cut it of after the guide and put a bigger diameter tip on it. He wants to get a new one anyway and I'm just goin to fix this one and hes going to use it as a backup rod.
