Have you ever shafted one arrow into another?

This spring i got a new bow, black ice from diamond. while just shooting in the yard getting use to the bow, i shot one arrow into another. It was perfect you can spin them and they do not run out 1/8". I thought ok fluke, once in a life time, besides i was just plinking not even tring. Well last week i was shooting 40yards (my normal practice range)seeing how good i can get my group and i did it again. One right inside the other, same deal they spin near perfect. So i have managed to junk 4 arrows that were new this spring.

Is it more common to have this happen with the newer bows? I have never had that happen with my two previous bows. I have been shooting and hunting archery for 10+ years. Any one else have this happen?

Faster bows shot arrows with less arc.  I've been shooting 22 years, shot competition for probably 10, and have seen it happen alot.  For whatever reason, the majority I've seen are from left-handers.   Maybe its cause those righty's aren't all that straight.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

That's why I practice with only one arrow at a time.

Happens too often I'm afraid and costly.  I tried one arrow per target up the 30 yards, then I stuck one at 35.  So now unless I'm checking for groups, I only shoot one arrow per dot no matter how far away.

one arrow per dot  go by it  i had it happen to me at a 3d shoot in mcdonald  had a ten shot at 30 some yards away and my buddy up after me got me.  his went 6 inches into mine but direct center shot    totaly luck  but it happens arrows are expensive even if u just bust nocks thats still more money you gotta put out. u can just campare for groups on individual dot   just compare shots on each dot    save you arrows and targets

I shafted a friend's arrow last night. Best part is I was trying to do it. I'm usually not so lucky.

Within a month after getting my Bow Tec and all the other fancy equipment I shafted two arrows and ruined all four. I invested in a five spot target. Way too expensive to be doing.
