NEW WADERS...PLEASE HELP

I am looking for a pair of waders or wading boots that are available in a size 15 or 16 for under 100$ I would also consider boot foot waders but the problem is I am only about 6' tall and 155lbs so boot foot waders shoulder straps usually come up to about my ears!!! If you know of any boots in these sizes please help me out! I would buy used ones also as long as they are in good shape. Thanks alot!

Sounds like your a tight spot. Simms is the only company with a custom sizing service that I can think of. Give them a call and see what they say. However, it's going to cost more than a hundred bucks but maybe getting a custom size may be more reasonable than you think. My Simms are in their 9th season and feel they make a high quality product.

Just looked at the Simms web page. The cheapest wader in the custom program are the Headwaters Stockingfoot and that will set you back about $299.00 then add $50.00 for the custom feet. Try one thing. Call them personally, not an e-mail. Tell them of your situation and they might be able to help you. Maybe someone backed out on a pair that would suit you just fine. It's worth a try. Good luck.

Ninth season but how many times do you use them in a season?  I've had mine on and off about 150 times so far this year.  If I could get 9 years out of a pair of waders I would pay $500 to $700 for waders but I'm lucky to get two seasons out of anything I buy.

"patch adams"  hahahahah           picking myself up off the floor............!!!!
the kids are asking me:  What is wrong with you daddy..........ahahahhah

say this in a homer simpson voice:  stupid waders                   hahahahahha

I own Simms G3s......spent extra for custom feet......best money I ever spent........I purchased them back in 2003.....still have them........they have seen hard use from 2003-2005.......then I decided to become a family man and time on the water was cut back significantly.......plus being in SE PA......I can pretty much wet wade April-Sept......so, they don't get the use.......but they are certainly worth the money......all of my other waders used to last maybe 2 years at most.......my Orvis breathables never made it through a year without leaking......I get good use out of the waders in the fall and winter months chasing salmon and steelhead and local trouties....

now there are plenty of products on the market that can help you fix a pinhole leak without sending the waders back to the company......

    PATCH ADAMS.................

Smallhook, Sorry for not replying sooner but here it goes. I probably get out 20 -40 times a year or any fishable weekend from March thru early December. The waders are Simms Lightweights that are no longer made that I bought at International Angler for $215.00. I think I got my moneys worth. I know their going to give up someday so I bought a pair of Simms Rivershed II waders that Cabelas were clearing out about 2 months ago ($329.00 on sale for $200.00) and just put them on the shelf till my old ones give up. I've also got a pair of Cloudveil Wading Pants that I'd recommend to anyone fishing smaller water.
