Shoreline access

I am a disabled fisherman, I cannot walk very far due to my knees. Can you give me any ideas for shorefishing access to Erie. And any favorite lakes in the surrounding counties of Crawford. My 2 1/2 year old caught his first bluegill, dad had to hold the rod tip up but he reeled it in on his own. I would like to continue taking him to new places.
Thanks

P.I. has many places you can access. Pymatuning has a nice pier by the causeway.

The marina wall has easy acess but in steelie season i think the crowds will make fishing bad for a child. I don't know what is in the acess area at this time of year though to try for.

Until the boats are out of the marina , Walnut is a tough choice.

Edinboro Lake has an two access points for disabled people on Lakeside close to the main beach.  An accessible boat pier is next to the boat ramp and a fishing pier is a couple of hundred yards away.  There is also an accessable fishing pier on Mallory Lake on the Edinboro campus.  However, certain times of the year weeds make these areas less than desirable for fishing.  Lake Edinboro is the best bet, since they control the weeds.

Jumbo, The Shenango Lake has an excellent area for handicap accessibility at the Clark boat ramp. I see lot's of people fishing there for crappies when we launch the boat.   Lou

Tried the Clark ramp and the kid had a great time catching 'gills for 2 hours. I didn't even wet a line as I spent my time enjoying his victories. He had a great time. We picked up some trash we found laying around and hopefully I set a trend for him that will stick with him long after I'm gone.
    Thanks again all.

Two mile run (Justus lake) Has a nice fishing area that is handicap accessible. The boat ramp at Canadohta has fishing and you can park within 10' of the lake...

There's a great new access area at the Kinzua Dam on the Hemlock Road side, the same side as the hatchery.  Really easy to access and lots of fish.

Trout, musky, walleye, northern pike.  Welcome to Kinzua. The name itself means "fish."
Depending on who you talk to about the translation of the Seneca name,
it means "fish on a spear" or "waters of the big fish."
The Kinzua region got its name from the old Seneca town under the present waters of the Allegheny Reservoir (Kinzua Lake).
This is where the Kinzua Dam got its name too. Explore the inundated Indian land under the lake to the
town of Warren six miles downstream on the Allegheny River.
