The "Other" rivers.

Gentlemen,
I, like soooo many others have fished the Salmon River many times but it seems that when we hear about NY Salmon fishing all we hear about is the Salmon river. What about all the other rivers in NY state that flow into the lake and St. Lawrence. Is it because most of the stocked fish are reared in the Salmon estuary and are imprinted to return there? Or is the run in other creeks just too small to be remarked on? Thanks for any information.

What's left here all fish the SR I guess. As you may know the place went atomic when the Oak thread happened (shouldn't have been here anyway- wrong board).
Some guys fish the Genny or the Oswego. I fish the Big O sometimes. There are snaggers like everywhere but fish can be caught fairly.
The wee tribs we should not bring up on the interwebs unless by pm...

SR board so I talk SR here.
I can't think of a trickle that gets browns or steelbows that doesn't get a salmon or two, whether they were ever  stocked or are strays.
