Difference in Reels?

I realize I could find this out by trial, error and research but I'd rather rely on the expertise of my talented fishermen friends to expound on this issue and broaden my horizons. What is the difference between a large arbor reel and a center pin reel?

Thanks

Large arbor and center pin! Never actually held one, but they sure look alike.

Wally, if you're referring to lg arbor flyreel, they're a completely different reel than a c-pin

arbor size (sm and lg) is based on the diameter of the part of the reel the line winds around.
Lg arbor allows more line to be recovered pr revolution

There are probably many differences but i guess the main thing is a large arbor is a fly reel with a drag and a centerpin is completely free spinning. If you give the spool a spin the centerpin will spin for a minute or so at least.
