Some pics from the weekend.
Had a pretty busy weekend, but was able to slip two pretty productive trips in.
Saturday, my buddy and I investigated a new brook trout creek in the middle nowhere in central rensselear county. It certainly has brookies, some of the biggest I've seen in creeks around here, actually. Its pretty cool too, as it is a un-named creek that has never been stocked, and is isolated from other trout creeks.
We only walked about 1/2 mile of creek, but ended up seeing 5 nice brookies, landing 3 (all released)

When we were walking out in the dark, I noticed there was a vehicle parked next to mine on the desolate dirt road, and they were closely checking out the contents of my truck. I was pretty releived when we got up to the road, that it was only DEC.
Sunday morning my buddies and I got out on the river with some livebait, and we freaking spanked the smallies and everything else. Ended up with smallmouth, carp, largemouth, drum, white perch, crappies, and rockbass.
Here's a few pics of the bigger fish
