The Nut

The other day I decided to walk the nut to scout some water...sorry no steel...Up around the chutes, I noticed several (3-4) hoses running out of the ground and straight into the creek. I was wondering if anyone knew what the purpose of these hoses served as. My guess is that the golf course uses the creek water to keep the fairways green. They really add an eye sore to the creek tho.

Half****pirates? I thought they were from pittsburgh...

I know what you mean though. Most of the fishing I did, I wasnt seeing too much trash, but in areas near the lake, it got pretty bad. I fished 12 mile last year and a group of...immigrant-types left so much trash, you could ahve had a few complete terminal setups just from clipping off hooks, floats, and shot from their trash, and using skein, eggs, and salt minnows they left scattered around.

Oh yes, definitely. I didnt mean to imply they were the only ones (or even that all of them were litterers), just in that situation, they were the perps.

I have permission to fish in several waters simply because not only do I not leave any litter, I'll pick some up and pack it out with me. It seems like such a small thing, but for many land owners, its a very big thing.
