Very nice workmanship Loomis. Those wraps are just fantastic - smooth and seamless. Very professional and one to be proud of. It's nice to see great work like that.

I sure am by the looks skip... we'll see this weekend how she flows.

"Sure, we can assiduously three-quarter our wets downstream, mend and wait out each fly swing, over and over again, which to my way of thinking, anyway, relegates the angler to the role, not of nemesis as it should be, but of butler."

Excellent work, Loomis. That's really something for both of you to be very proud of. Now we need a few hero shots taken this weekend.

I agree with you.  Tell it the to the homeboys at IUP that Jacked my D-80 with about 3 grand of glass to go along with it.  Reduced to a crappy point and shoot and crappy dusty chairs now.

    thanks for the comments though

Oh man, what a cam to loose. That hurts.

However, regardless of the picture "quality", the rod work is beautiful! How many hours do you think?

Yeah it was seriously disheartening.  Took the professional rug right out from under my feet.  As far as hours go, I'd say about 10 total in that particular one, one of my slower builds.

    Raz

I do not.  That build was about 2 months after the cam got jacked.

Nice work Loomis. The stealth fish hunter style is excellent.

I really like the rainshadow too. Very smooth and powerful rod.

very powerful. some question the 6 wt as a steelhead rod, I have no idea why.... I beefed this one up which already has a really fast modulus too. Casted a saltwater fly with it last night and it RIPS!
