Proving my superior Fly Fishing skills!

Got a camera finally, took it out for an hour or so last night.

this pond had some BRUISERS of all species in it..

Like this one!

And this one!!

Yeah, Yeah, I know. But I don't care, I just picked up some tiny poppers and had a blast. I've fished this pond and caught some 4+ lb LM, but I only took the fly this time, and screwed around. The takes on those poppers we're impressive.

I'm thinking BIG, gaudy poppers or anything that floats on the surface could entice a bass out of hiding.

    whats an uplocking reel?

The rod is a 2 piece, when I'm done, I break em down, and stick em side by side. The Gumband holds em together at the bottom.

The reel is big for a 4 wt. It's a mid arbor.

Jim, was that up where you were talking about going? I checked a map and I think I've camped along that stream, but it was years ago.

yes sir.. that's where the bows came from... some beautiful water and very nice people owning surrounding property.  Had a fellow come out and talk fly fishing with us for a few minutes and gave us a few tips on other places to go.  Nothing great in terms of size, but we missed a few with some girth.  My buddy nymphed and I stayed up top... fish were active as hell despite warmer water than I expected.

The brown looks to be a streambred one. The adipose fin has good red color and the fins that I can see seem to be in good shape :)

    I'm sure it was unintentional.

Topwater is **** fun. I'm going to go out looking for something to attract LM's. Any Ideas?

I think I know the pond in the first pic.

Do you have permission to fish it?

It looks really familiar, and is really posted.

you shouldn't take this forum to heart so much... its pretty pathetic. Stay in your little circle of friends, I don't need the criticism from "God of the fisherie.com boards"

bolt... sorry if I really offended you, but God would have ridiculed something in the thread if I had started a new one anyway.
