My buddy just texted me, they are on there way in from Conneaut, 3 limits of perch but the lake kicked up to 3 to 5's with caps...He says it's still building...It's blowing out of the West at 15-20 mph right now...

Just got word that the Polish Battleship is out...  The report is that it's 4's and 5's.  I was told, "We're hammerin the perch but there isn't another boat in site.  The Edward John went in about an hour ago.  It was a bumpy ride out, but we're catchin' fish."

There's a reason that there isn't another boat in sight and the EJ went in...  IT'S TOO ROUGH!

I guess the good news is that hunting season is just around the corner.

You bet, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumbass, AKA. Greg and George.  You decide which is which.  One of these days those morons are going to kill themselves.  Greg's boat is just big enough with enough horsepower that he can get into trouble faster then he can get out of it.  And when you get those two together common sense goes out the window.  Apparently Greg was claiming that it would be less then 2 foot tonight...

Obviously didn't look at the trees bent over before they went out....Steve said they didn't catch jack though, so they risked it for nothing.....

Launched outta Lampe Friday AT 530. Waves 1-3' with the occasional 4' per Sherri at walnut. Two man limit just befroe 9. EJ was about 1/2 mile eastand was out for a full trip. My last boat was an 18' Starcraft...3-4's were uncomfortable and no fun at all too fish in. It made it like work. I decided to go bigger (26') and heavier with a glass boat. I spend more $$ in fuel but also spend alot more time on the water now. Rode straight into those 3's and cut through them like butter. 6,300 lbs. and trim tabs makes a huge diference and and being anchored in those conditions is better too...not bouncing around like a cork.

It sure was fun in 6 and 7 footers off shore saturday afternoon. Plowed through them like you couldn't imagine. Fishing sucked though. The water is getting colder and fishing is getting slower. Sure hope it stabilizes soon
