    Why am I not surprised that the france, czech republic and england were the top three. 4th isnt too bad I guess.

    Fly fishing tournaments are a big part of whats wrong with fly fishing today. I think Tom Mcguane said it best in the first chapter of "the longest silence", where he mentions that in a tournament what was once a beautiful wild trout, becomes "number 7". Wild trout deserve to be considered more than just a score or a point in a game. Besides, does anyone want fly fishing for trout to become what bass fishing is today....You know, those guys who wear the bright colored shirts with all the sponsers on them. I know I dont want to see it.
