KENNERDALE TO PARKER LANDING

I'm goin on a canoe trip here soon . If anyone knows any good walleye or smallmouth spots, please chime in. I fish this stretch once a year so I'm not lookin to steal a hotspot or anything. Just catch and release. And what are good baits to use?
Sorry for posting twice. Should have been posted here to begin with.
thanks

If you have a map of the river, slow down when you get the the Dotters eddie area.   The small mouth and Walleye fishing has always been good to me in that area.  Dark green grubs on a 1/8 oz jig head.  Slow swim these just off the bottom and you will do fine. A lot of times I'll let line out far enough to keep the grub off the bottom and let the river do the work.  Just sit there enjoying your favorite beverge/.

Yes I believe Millcreek is the creek that dumps into Dotters Eddie.  Just past dotters eddie the river gets pretty fast. The pool just above the rapids is where I do pretty well.

I'm floating from Emlenton to Millers Eddie Saturday.  I'll let you know how I do.

That entire section is great for smallies. Find holes and you'll find walleye.

P.S. You do know its 25 miles paddling from Kennerdell to Parker, right? That's a very very long paddle for a day trip. I doubt you'll be doing much fishing if you're doing a one day run.

Floated Emlenton to Parker on Friday...put in around 11am, bite was slow. After the first hour and a a few beers later we pulled off and took a nap.  Woke up sunburnt and dilerious around 3pm, but the bite had picked up.  Took our time floating, swimming, and drinking to make sure we were on the water for dusk and it paid off.  Only 2 hogs landed on the day with 2 or 3 more hooked and lost, but really fast action the last two hours of light.
