Black Lake

I'm planning a trip to Black Lake for a long weekend in August.  I'm still in the planning stages and looking for a decent place to stay, preferably a cabin.  I found a good website from the Chamer of Commerce which has a link to accomidations. Unfortunately most rentals are for a week minimum unless I decide to camp or bring an RV.
 
Anyone ever been there or have any recommendations?

    what awesome weather we are having, santaman, that blacklake must be excellent place all around..if I had the extra time , I would definitely book lodging on the lake.. It would probably be a good bet for such a distination to have quick access on a private dock. I would try calling a few well know reputable lakeshore lodgings before considering travel trailers /camping especially for just a week. I'd recommend finding a decent place closest to a marina with live bait.
