haven't run into the BIG catfish yet, largest so far was 27", and the crappie bite is as usual, nighttime, and alot of undersized fish.

the early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Me and my buddy and his son fished Sayers this past saturday night.  We waited until the storms past and put in and anchord up under the causeway. We were only out for about half an hour when another storm rolled in with lots of lighting and chased us off.  We caught a few dink crappies in that time and nothing was over 8".  We trailered the boat up to the northern most launch on the rt 150 side and night fished on the bank for about 2 hours.  Again, nothing but dink crappies.   As a side note, I fished the Bald Eagle Creek at Milesburg and trout still inhabit the waters....I wasn't targeting trout at that outing and was going for smallies.  No smallmouth caught but I found a school of crappies and caught about 20 of them (again, size was only about 7"-8") and they all went back in.  Live minnies were used in the lake on a slip bobber set to about 10' and the Bald Eagle crappies were caught on berkley 1.5" power minnies with a bb spilt about 18" above the hook.

I got a bunch of French military rifles for sale...NEVER fired and only dropped once.
