Hot weather & hot fishing !

It got hot out there today, it was way hotter than forcasted and way to much sun for me, i'm toast !!

We boated about 2 dozen LMB with a few real nice ones mixed in, slow in the am but hit a nice feeding frenzy in the afternoon.

These next 2 were back to back cast !!! I got a pic of 1st one, dropped it back in the water, picked my rod up and took a cast to my right .... bam !!!! Talk about exciting



5lb 7oz piggy




Had just ate something, but wanted my bait too




..... And then a few ounces under 5lbs




So it started slow, got really hot, but we stuck to it and we were rewarded with a great day !

    Very nice job once again Brian!! You always manage to find the Big fish. I hear you on the sun too, I was out for a few hours this morning and my legs got scorched!!

    LOL, Brian change your pose! I can shut my eyes at night and see you there with that fish catchin grin holdin a biggun. but keep the pics commin they are great. 

    A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!

    Nice lunkers Brian.... hmm looks like you got the big beefy ones again.  Theyre still bedded down there it looks like.

    That's 2 weeks in a row catching a lunker with a tail hanging out of it's gullet.......pretty wild how aggressive those LMB can be.......feeding frenzies can be very special indeed!
     
    Looks like you guys picked up a few fish down in the south bay according to the pics.
     
    The action picked up quite a bit last night once the sun started going down.  We landed about 8 LMB each after I talked to you.  Most were in the 1-2 lb range, but my partner got one that was 3lb 4oz using my top water frog, rod and reel.  I was glad to put him on some fish, since he's never had any luck up there.

    LOL , they do all start looking the same after a while but i remember each one very clearly  
     
    Hope to be sharing a few more pics later this week .... i can't wait to get back out there !!!

    Yeah man, i have never seen that as much as i do there, i have a therory about thier feeding habits there. Different than the "normal"

    I miss pluggin for hogs .. nothing like popping a pop'r across weeds and lilly pads and watching a huge LMB smash it. wtg you guys! that is sure fun in the sun.
