How to make the "worm" cube pieces of sponge and push on a treble hook....As for bait what carpin said works, you can buy jars of the stuff but it isn't worth sh*t IMO.

I tried the sponge today and didn't like what came about it.I pushed the sponge onto the treble and cut the sponge so the hooks just sit on the outside of the sponge.I pushed the treble sponge into the dip bait and when i pulled it out most of the bait fell of except just a very tiny amount stayed on the sponge. Now my ? is that smell all you need on the sponge or should the dip bait be more packed onto the sponge? I came up with my own worm version by useing a curler for womans hair that my wife has from being beautician. It is plastic and has holes in it just like the ones i seen on-line. Gonna try this tomorrow. I usually use just liver and shrimp and crawlers but trying different things.

Just got home from fishing the local sportsmens club and caught 6. One was on the curler with a treble dipped in charlies blood dip and the rest on liver mixed in grape kool aid and garlic.
