PRAYERS

HEY GUYS ONE OF MY CO-WORKERS AND FISHING BUDDY'S FOUND OUT HE HAS PROSTATE CANCER. HE IS HAVING SURGERY ON THE 20TH. PLEASE SEND UP A PRAYER FOR HIM. HIS NAME IS LARRY. THANKS.

    I can speak from experience that cancer scares the hell out of you. It will consume your mind and your soul if you let it.
    They do wonderful things with treatments.
    Tell Larry to put his trust in God and the doctor.
    I am 45 years old and I am fighting two different cancers and am winning the fight. Tell Larry to stay positive. Have him send me a PM if he needs someone to talk to. I know it helped me deal with it by talking to someone who has been there and is a complete stranger.

    Tell Larry were pullin for him..  My cousin had surgery for this 6 months back and is doing great. Thay have made huge advances in the treatment for this. Be a good bud and be there for him to keep his head up. That's half the battle.

    My prayers are with Larry, but while we are all praying, i just got a phone call from my good friend and fishing buddy's brother, seems today at work he had an accident with a piece of metal cutting four of his fingers pretty severly, he has surgery tonight at 6 to reattach tendons and pretty much his fingers. His name is Todd and i know he will appreciate the thoughts and prayers, hopefully they both will be out casting and catching soon!

    Hoss, our thoughts are with him. As Washdog said, advancements in medicine have come a long way. One of my best friends had been diagnosed with the prostrate cancer back in Jan. The Doc caught it early, but he had high counts. He had the surgury in March and so far so good.
     
    Keep his spirits up. Laughter is a great stress reliever. O---

    Larry, be tough. It is one awful thing to find out.
    I went through it in 1983, had three months to live.
    I,M HERE!
    Very nasty cure. Worst than the cancer. But I had exspiraments done.
    My prayers(and that is what saved me) are with you.
