New Boat, looking to do some exploring...

I just got myself into an 18 ft. multispecies deep V fiberglass boat with a 115hp Yamaha behind it.  I would like to run the Allegheny where possible (the farther north the better) for smallies and anything else that might hit my Smithwicks and Twisters.  What are some of the better stretches for a midsize vessel to have launch access and run.  That said, are there any major hazards/obstacles I should be aware of up-front?  I would also like to hit the Yough, so if you have information on that, it would be appreciated greatly.  Thanks in advance, the Griffon.
