Well, back from Pymy. Had a great Friday and Saturday in 7ft. of water using chartreuse floaters tipped with minnows. Hammered the crappies. It was nice to be picky. Kept nothing smaller than 11" and biggest was 13.5", kept 20. Great day and a little sunburn too. If you fish for walleye like PM50 said "Think shallow!" Caught 3 nice eyes - 23", 22", 19" all on chartreuse floating worm rigs bounced on the bottom in 4.5ft. to 5ft.. Caught about 6 or 8 others 12" to 13"  and a bunch of perch too small to keep then the wind got too bad around 5PM and got off the lake. Tried Sunday morning 8AM to noon but the wind was 15-20 MPH with gusts and was too much so packed up and came home. But a great weekend at Pymy! Good luck!

glad to hear that you picked up some smaller eyes.  means a stocking a couple years ago made it.

pimuh, i think stealys is being sarcastic, a bit.  he hits the eyes pretty good up there.

Has anybody gone to the Pym. Lake Assoc. website and looked at the results? Man, if those top weights represent a 3 fish limit there were alot of nice fish brought in. I'm no walleye guy but an over 4 lb average isn't too shabby. Look at the previous years, this year BLEW them away.
    Quite impressive!
