Spring

Fishing has really improved with the warm Temps. in my area. It's great to catch a bunch of fish now & then. Haha.
I haven't dragged a camera along, but it's been fun times for me & my little ones.
My oldest boy (6) caught a few nice Rainbows (about 15") himself last week.
All I did was tie the fly on. Fun times.
The water levels are up & it has effected the rise a good bit, but nymphing with two flies has really been pleasant.

Turkey season starts on Saturday. I hope to get out Monday with my dad.
I love the Sound of a Gobbler in the woods!

No- I haven't been there for about a week because of my stinking back. Last time I went there were only a few with a blanket Caddis hatch. I hope to get out manana.

Sulphurs should start showing up in about 2 weeks round here. I'm working on a new san juan pattern for 'em.

I'm working on my Tup's Indispensable material gathering. I think it will be a killer fly in all stages for Sulphurs.
The nymph I came up with is working well- even though I haven't found baby Seal, or the Ram's Scrotum Wool.
Not just any Scrotum wool either. The herders put some sort of dye on that area so they knew what ewe's had been Tupped as the story goes (Tup is a name for a Ram).
I've just been using pink scud dubbing & it works/looks good enough. I don't want to shave a Goats privates.
