Union City Dam Backwaters

I go to college at edinboro university and spend most of my downtime fishing. I know pretty much every spot like the back of my hand. One place in particular has surprised me. The union city dam backwater area is amazing for musky fishing. I myself have never tried targeting musky there (mostly just smallmouth) but almost every time ive been there someone is pulling them in right and left. One in particular was easily 30+ inches. The area isnt big at all and at first glance most would just pass it right up. Have any of you guys had much luck there or know what the deal is with this place?
