Erie is, hands down. Tougher to fish but once you get the hang of it...

I kind of spent all of my time fishing for stripers and crappies this year, so I can't really answer that question.  But I learned this year that there are walleyes in almost every lake and stream around western pa.  I'm talking possibly close to your limit daily.  But, I know everyone says this, most of the places you have to put your time in to figure them out.  I've decided Moraine is as good as any, so I'm just going to focus my efforts there until Pymy rebounds...hopefully.  We caught a decent amount of walleye at arthur fishing for stripers this year, and I've seen nice stringers full three different times in the past month.  So I figure if I can get to the "he knows what he's doing" plateau on Moraine, life will be good.  And my belly will be full.

I used to be able to pick a few up each trip at Woodcock but it sure is being stingy this year. None of the old patterns or jelly holes are working this year..
