Feeder web cam in N.J.

This is pretty cool.  Lots o' coons, but I'm sure there will be some venison wandering into view at some point.

I wish I could shock those thieving squirrels.  The deer don't seem to move in until they're gone.

Don't worry.  I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon enough.  Then somebody will put one of those under water in Manchester.

I clicked on it at 5:20, and there were 6 deer in the shot.  One spike, 1 4-point, 1 fawn, and 3 doe.  Cool!

It looks like that doe, fawn, and buck are hangin' around one another allot.  The same 3 were there together today, the doe stepped off the screen just before I captured the screen.

P.S. Skip that's the greatest signature ever, it took me half an hour of staring before I even seen the deer photo above.

I wonder if that feeder is actually in the woods or on the edge of the woodline.  I guess all the traffic in the area has the ground tore up, doesn't it seem extremely baren around there for early August?

Are you implying that it's fake or misrepresented?  15-20 deer + every squirrel within 100yds + every frikin' 'coon within 1/4 mile per day = ground torn the f up.

I've been having a rough time finding older deer.  Seeing less young ones too but that cold snap we had, young deer were everywhere.   It's hot and people have been out putting scent down, so the slowness is to be expected.  It's no surprise that every deer I've seen recently has been near or headed to water.  I did see a reasonable 7 pt. last night with a broken main beam.  The big fella is around somewhere.  However, this year has been disappointing so far.  I've seen maybe 3-4 BIG bucks.  It's still early though.  I suspect the first frost will trigger some activity in those older ones.  I for one will make every effort to be out there when that happens.

They've been on here.  I saw a 6 a little after midnight last night, and many doe at sunrise and sunset.  Kinda typical for this time of year.  I wonder how dry it is there?
