Depends on what you're looking for Steel in the fall/winter/spring.  Smallmouth in the spring, suckers in the spring, catfish mixed in there too.  E. coli year round and if you're lucky, maybe a little Hep C in the late summer.

I encourage you contact 'thedrake' -- for a sucker trip on Elk.  He's likely already booked full for this coming March but you may get lucky for a 2009 trip.  He's a top notch sucker guide!!!  Here is one of his many happy clients.

    Vinny,

The lower end gets a run of Channels in late spring/early summer. Browns are stocked for regular Trout season, but you would be hard pressed to find any left at this point. As of a week ago, you could step across most of the creek without getting your feet wet.

    Suckers are just awesome fish..
I love catching them. It's more challenging than most gamefish and they fight just as hard, if not harder..

Garden worms are my favorite bait for them..
Crawfish meat also works but more aggressive fish usually hit it first. A lot of wet flies will work if they're actively feeding..
