Remington 700 Alaskan Ti

    Has anyone bought or heard if this is a good shooting gun.  It is really light weight and has some nice features including the new trigger.  If anyone has any info on this gun it would help.  Or a suggestion on which is the best Remington to buy.  Most likely in the 700 series.

    6 1⁄4 pound long action and 6 pounds short action is going to give you quite a pounding if you have the magnum or some of the super short calibers.
    Titanium receiver? I would wait and see if there are complaints about it.
