"Over 35" sounds more like tee-ball territory, Ship!

Just kidding, I know it consumes your summer, and I am sure it is a lot of fun.

But I am only 33, and I don't think that your league is ready for my heated 44mph knuckle ballin' just yet...

Use to pitch a little but mainly catcher and first base. Don't think the arm is in good enough shape to pitch any more and knees won't last 5 innings catching but you ever need a first baseman give me a shout. Good Luck with your league. Mets spring training opener is 1 o'clock today...Good Met's. Please don't choke again this year.

See as a Met's fan I can predict a horrible year ever year and if it isn't it is like being a kid on Xmas morning.  The thing that sucks is the last month of the season unraveling.

    Perch:

Speaking of not finishing - how about last night against the Florida Panthers.  The Rangers totally dominated the first two periods and then choked in the 3rd.  Hope they continue that when they play my Flyers, who have been on a run lately.

Ship, I may be interested, depending on details (schedule for the most part). I pitched throughout high school and jr. college. May have had a chance to go a bit farther, but life took another course. Probably wouldn't take me long to get it to bend like Beckam again.

PM me the details if you're still looking.

When hell freezes over, I'll fish there too.

I'm pretty sure Eagle Ed is over 35.  Not sure he can still throw a baseball though.

    Baseball Fans:

OK enough from Eagle Crg on my age (over 35) try 71, but yes I did pitch although nothing fast.  Just curve, slider, forkball (remember those) and occasional fastball.
As for Hook, Line and Sinker I hope the league has a DH because I've seen him run to his tip-ups and you can time him with a calendar.
Wisdom - glad to hear you enjoyed Field of Dreams, as it was a great experience for me as well.  However, one of my umpires got a concussion from a foul ball and I had to do 13 games in three days.  In that heat it took too much out of me, so I'm not back this year.  Although the food was great, the coaches, kids, parents and staff couldn't have been nicer.

I'm more worried about his arm than his legs........it is funny because overall it is fairly good baseball being played...until you watch us run!
