?

Anyone get out today? I had a brutal day. 1 dink perch on a tip-up, and 3 gills jigged. Only stayed for 1.5 hours as I saw the bite was light. 3 guys that I've fished with a few times were out for a few hours before I got out, and they had similar results. I'll be back out tomorrow. If anyone wants to join me, give me a ring, or pm me if you don't have my #.

When hell freezes over, I'll fish there too.

For some reason Lake George has come to a screeching halt. RJ and I fished friday and got nothing. Nobody around us has anything that I know of. One good hit on my jig at about 730am and nothing after that. It has been getting pounded every week since it froze over, so that might explain it lately. Still not giving up, will be back there within the next week to target them lakers again.

those dudes that were sitting in the white explorer had 1 flag, iced a small laker. I stayed until 3pm and re- jigged all the open holes, it was dead.....
I am thinking of fishing Paradox next.

Slow day overall here too, i got the big skunk-o  ... but on a good note my buddy Todd managed to land his 1st Lakers(s) today  ... he caught 2 !! No longer a Laker virgin.

There were fish down there on the flasher, and usually the suspending ones have no problem committing to the bait, but they kept passing it up today ?!??!?

Hey RJ, Sorry to hear about the house. Sounds like you need an Extreme Makeover. We're off to Queechy tomorrow for the tourney. Hopefully the conditions have improved since last sunday. PM me with details about Paradox and when you might be going, I would like to try a new lake this season.

I have been doing EXTREME makeovers on this place for the last 23 years. Somehow it always seems to know when tax time is.

    Brian :
Tell Todd I said hello, I'm the 3:30 Heineken a day man from the store. Haven't been there since it was sold however.
I'm sure Todd is thinking stripers, I on the other hand am thinking ADK brook trout (lol)

Hey up there! It wasn't exactly easy pickings here either.. we tried from 10am to 5pm jigging down here in harriman. I handlazered about 20 holes /walk a bout a mile perimeter of the deep section on the lake. It was relatively warmer but mostly cloudy with a stiff breeze. We were plenty warm with temps above freeze. Still wasn't warm enough for that annoying slush i'm predicting for tomorrow. I filleted 11 keepers , glad my friend doesn't want any perch! I still offer to fillet his but his says keep em! oh well ,  I can't argue with such a fishing partner Today I almost had out the hole a SMB at least 3.5lbs i'd say 4s it hit my bluefox 1/8 perch spoon. I should of lipped him to take a photo.. anyway, overall fishing was slow too here for jigging for perch.

when you coming back to the north country ? if not for hardwater maybe steelies in march ? hoping the house don't claim all my assets so the new driftboat still goes through.
                                           Peace:
