help with batteries?

Can anyone please help me with how to connect my trolling motor batteries? I have two I want to use together do I connect them + to + and - to -    or opposite? And also when hooking up for charging both at the same time How would I connect them?Thank you very much for youre help.

    If the trolling motor is 12V conect + to +and - to  -

    For a 24V motor conect + on one battery to - on other.
    + not conected is your positive lead
    - not conected is negative.

    To charge both with 12V charger connect + to + and - to -
