Yough - Boat Launch at Cedar Creek

The ice is stackin up maybe 50 or 60 feet from the shore. Definitely couldn't get to the water from the launch. I went further upriver and found easier access.

Thanks.   The Yough seems so dark and gray this time of year.  I went to Smithton on the same day and found some big Carp sitting up against the bank on an ice free stretch.  In the spring, summer or fall they would see me and scatter, not these fish.  They waited till I was with 15 or 20 feet before they moved, and they didn't move very far.

I hate it when that happens but knew it was coming.  Thanks for the report and let us know if it clears up.  I'll do the same.  May have to go down there with a sledgehammer

Looks like a B&W. Absolutely no color. Yeah, this gray is horrible.

I swung by Cedar Creek on Sunday to check if 2 days above freezing last week would make any improvements.  Well... It didn't.  Still as much ice at the launch as pictured and looks like even more and larger "icebergs" floating.  It's gonna take some time (and warm weather)!
