Uncomfortably Obsessed (poem)

        Uncomfortably Obsessed
Snow piles on my shoulder and collar
as i stand along 7 mile.
I warm my right fingers momentarily
so i can tie another pattern on.
I ‘feel’ my cold red cheeks and ears
being out here for such a while.
It’s about noon now
and I’ve been out since early dawn.
 
The used flies are now frozen
stuck to my pinned on fly patch.
I dressed to keep warm as possible
though my toes are now uncomfortably numb.
I am stubbornly obsessed
although i haven’t had a catch.
I watch the line and guides freeze
as i stand uncomfortably mum!
