    OK,  John,
When do you want to go?  I hear you got a new truck.  The best times are late Aug early Sept. or so I heard.

    Actually,
If you have a group and can share driving chores it only takes about 1 day to get there but it isn't something you do on a weekend.  Takes about a week.  But the fishing is double A awsome!  You don't always have to have a guide either there are some public access places.

Used to fish the S.W. Miramichi in the 70's and had the trill of seeing an Atlantic Salamon show me why he is considered one of the greatest fighting fish; pound for pound. It was told to me by my friend and guide from Juniper that the river system had gone through a severe down period and I haven't been back for a long time. Is it recovering? Can't ask my friend; because he now lives in Alberta. Still have a few of the double-hook flies that we used. My trips now are for big browns in N.Y.
