Someone Say Walleye ?

hit a far northern lake today and boy what a ride. once we got above glens falls the northway was a skating rink with all those foolish folks bouncing off the guard rails.
 
Now the fishing:
almost all the snow was off the lake making it creeper use. there was 4" black ice w/ 4" white ice on top. Very safe as there were atv's & snowmobiles out there.
I did not get to fish my pike spot as there were two folks already set up. when I talked with them they had 13 flags (11am) and were still chasing all day.
 
I set up in a walleye location and had 5 flags with 1 perch and 2 eyes iced (23" & 17" ) nothing jigging but a good day indeed.
Don't worry about the warm spell , there is plenty of ice and it's still cold in the north country.
 

 
P.S. went by toga & lonely and there were folks out but that might NOT last...

    Nice going Tuna, they look like nice fatties too !

    Nice fish!!!! Sled looks good too, came out nice.

    I won't be able to get up there till after news years, nice eyes, going to be warm tomorrow too. they champlain tuna?

    Mmmm Tasty looking Eyes RJ... very nice.  Man you guys are making me so jealous. I'm jonesing to get out bad.  Had a death in my wifes family today so the ice takes a back seat.  Hopefully its colder by next week!
