Yough Dam Walleye help!

Hey there all,
I am heading down to the Yough Dam this weekend and plan on doing some night fishing by the boat launch(from shore sadly) at the Dam for walleyes. I plan on casting out a slip sinker with a floating jig head with either a leach or minnow. Does anyone know if this is effective or is there a better shore fishing spot and tackle rig thats better than how I plan to go about beaching some eyez.
thanks,
Pat

You can try casting rapalas around the beach. They close the gate at 9:30
so if you don't want to spend the night you have to leave by then. You could try at the rt 40 boat launch

You still can still park at the park office and walk across the dam and fish i believe, If your fishing on the bottom there i would take a lot of terminal tackle gear along as i think you will get caught alot unless your fishing the beacj area.
