Erie Waves
Gentlemen,
I am in need of confirmation of a subject some of us down here in KY were discussing the other day. To wit: Why is the wave frquency on Lake Erie so short? Is it because of the shallowness (generally) of the lake or because of the prevailing wind being parallel to the shore? On some of the other Great Lakes is is like: Wave, , , Wave, , , Wave, , ,; but on Erie it is like wave, wave, wave, wave. Or, maybe that is just a misconception due to lack of experience on Erie. Your thoughts are welcomed.
