fishing line technology advances

Line changes color when stressed or damage.  Sounds like you could be fighting a fish and know if your line is about to break by the color of the line.  Also any damaged stretches of line would change color.  Hmmmm.

    Floro already does that.  Once stretched too far, it will appear milky/cloudy instead of clear.
