Pike fishing in French Creek

Has anyone been doing any good with Pike fishing lately on French Creek? No need to give up your honey holes just general information is acceptable!

May your fly rod always be bent!

    They are in there, just not stacked up in concentrations.  Woodcock hole and slower stretches with weeds are the ticket.  Many moons ago I got one of the biggest pike I ever caught out of there at the Woodcock hole first day of Musky/Pike on a Suick Thriller.  A 42" pig!

    I fish for them up towards Union City, Catch a few for my efforts, none lately. A 28" fish last year. Supposed to be good around Little Hope. I have not fished that section. I did see one in that area while duck hunting.

    I live right by the west branch, what the heck should i try to use for pike? Spinners???

    In line spinners work well. You could lose quite a few of them. Creek chubs work, don't forget the leader. Shallow diving rapalas are another option.

    I live right off rt 89 in greenfield/north east. Im going to give wildman rd to little hope a try tomorrow morning. Throw buzzers and spinner for pike.
