I just got a summit openshot deluze.  It is loud.  Nice stand however.

The first thing I did was a trip to Home Depot, got some spray insulation foam, and loaded that baby up.  You don't need much.  The foam will find its way through the holes.   It adds no weight, and dulls the noise pretty good.  Careful not to fill up the holes where you put the cables.  yikes!
Ask summit to send you new bushings.  They should be small black thingys.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

I wrapped most everything on my summit in foam or tape. I took arm pads off an old stand and used them on the bottom rails which the cables go in. Take the seat cord metal ends and tape those babies, theyre a big source of noise.

My summit is only two years old, its getn a camo job when season is over, why oh why do they make it one solid flat color.

Im gonna tweak this thing from every angle possible, great idea on the foam.

You know, I just lock my stand on the tree the night before or whatever, spray it, and take the seat with me.

I can get to the stand, climb it quietly, and people will never know I'm there.

Jeremy, do you use that camo foam tape. Works wonders dude.
