2009 Bows

Looks like Hoyt and Bowtech merged and made the same bow, at least we have the new Mathews to look foward to in November

I gotta say......they do share a striking resemblance.

I love the Hoyt I own now (Razortec) but, I am not a big fan of the new Hoyts.  They all feel cumbersome and very heavy in hand.  They do shoot well though.

My next bow will almost certainly be a Matthews, after shooting the drenalin and Switchback XT I fell in love.  Right now it seems their top dog is the DXT, I never shot one yet but I am sure they are great.  Probably not next year, but the following year I will be ready to upgrade.

If i had to buy one or the other it would be the bowtech without a doubt.

My next bow is definitely a mathews. I believe chris said it best when he said "You never have to ask anyone... hey, hows your mathews shoot... you just know, perfect"

I have a Drenalin and it is one sweet bow. I shot the DXT, Drenalin and the Katera at the pro shop and the Drenalin felt the best to me, but the DXT and Katera are no slouches

i just love the fact that everyone is making awesome, good quality bows...gives me a lot more to choose from...there's not really a "best" out there...everyone is good in their own ways...i'm lovin' the new hoyts though...and high country makes an awesome bow too but you don't hear much about them anymore...
