They stock mostly Rainbows with a few brook and occassional brown.   At least that's the way it usually is during March and April.
 
 
It's great they are having a kids day, but a little late in the year.  Take some power bait or marshmallows and fish the deep half of the lake close to the dam. The trout will all be down deep.  Should be tons of big gills and small bass around to catch though.
