Oil Creek?

I haven't fished Oil Creek in years.  I'm thinking I might make a trip there this weekend.  I can only fish the regular streams fo rme so often, it's time to explore a bit.

Any advice out there for me?  Recent bug action?  Feel free to send a PM.

Thanks.

Yea, I know.  I wasn't able to make it that day, I could have if it was one day earlier, but alas...

The East branch is freshly stocked and at the right level. From clear Lake dam to Centerville.

Spent the last two days there.
Hatches are a tad late this year.
Bright green caddis in 18 are finishing up.
    16 dun caddis are starting.
Some 16 tans were on the water.
    22 baetis ( gray body )
    16-18 yellow cranflies.
    mixed bag of midges.
There's been a few march browns, gray fox and cahills but not enough to get the fish working.
    no sulfurs yet.
this weekend will probably be a different story.
Make sure yo have a variety of caddis pattern.

Looking for some information on Oil Creek.   The wife is letting me out for one day of the Father's Day weekend LOL. I have always wanted to fish it and it appears I may get some time this weekend.  How is the water for holding fish into June?  What hatches can one expect?  If there are stretches that are better for holding trout late into the season...?  If you don't want to give info on the web I understand completely.  If you don't mind sharing however, my email is mike.phelps@dcsg.com.  Thanks for any info.
