Great work Tuna! It was *GREAT* to meet you... And special thanks for all the sweet, sweet tunes... Somehow I found the CD of the Allmans Bethel show (disc 2) in the back of my Pathfinder yesterday... Not sure how the hell that happened, since I didn't drive anywhere all weekend! I can get it back to you ASAP, I am really sorry about that.... Here are some more shots of the "Beer Blast" on Saturday... I almost forgot we were there to FISH!!! The Crew  Santaman with Pretty Bass  Guidici Got Second With a Chunky One  Reel Force went for NUMBERS  Here is the ARMADA of tiny boats!  There were a few bucks on the line that day  Bassin' Brian found plenty too  "Just Scott" and a Nice Bronzeback  The "King of the Grill"  Cashing Out and Going Home  The Venue  The Perch Man Lived Up to His Name  A Couple Of The Guys  The Late Night Party Animals  I Only Let Nora Come So She Could Find Missing Cameras for My Friends  Eat, Drink and Go FISHING!!!  Sunset on Snyders Lake  Santaman and Smallie  A True CLASSIC!  Even though I was BANNED from Competition (due to the use of "Performance Enhancing Drugs") I Did Get Out for Just One  The Bandit and Bronzeback  The Winning Bass  Some of the Gang Just "Chillaxing"  "Fire... Fire On The Mountain..."  Jimmy Explaining Where the Bass Live  The Tuna On The Fly  Our Moderator Knows No Moderation?  Thanks again to all the great guys who came out to Snyders Lake last weekend... You guys can SURELY count on this one being an "Annual"... You may as well mark down Travers Weekend for 2009! Looking from those pictures I should of been up there,samn! lol.. you guys obviously had a blast. saturday23rd was awesome perfect day for such an event and I truely was bumming out missing that invitation. Honestly , My excuse for not making that outting was that my friend had to work, I had no one else to make such a long trip to a new area..so I opted instead to hang with family at my brothers /pool/barbacue thing .Just chickened out thinking of driving alone up from n.j. you know where i'm coming from  samn do another one soon I won't miss it! lol. Tomorrow and again friday i'm off to the jersey coast for party boatin some fluke. awesome pics btw! Anybody ever care to hit the EBD do let me know cause I know it pretty good. I am looking forward to trying for some upper delaware eyes after labor day sometime.

Awesome pics Jimmy, a few of them are just cool as hell ... the group photo, the shore pic with nobody but the tent and empty chairs, the fire !!! the night group photo, Tuna fly fishing ..... but the pic of the classic Johnson is awesome, talk about flashblack to when i was a kid.
Man that was fun !!!

Brian, a great bunch ,thank you for the headsup..and you are absolutely right, I missed a good one. Today I went partyboating out of atlantic highlands nj ..it was off, weather was fine but fishing was rough, only had three throwbacks one skate /no keepers.. out of like 3o only a couple highhooked a couple keepers. Fluking is done imo , season ends sept 7 anyway. seen a nice 6lb pool winner though today and couple 3 to 4 lbs. but it was very slow for the whole fleet.

There may be an "OctoberFest" in the works, but can't say for certain just yet...
By the end of the month I get back into trout fishing thru October- and there are still a few more concerts lined up this Fall that will have me occupied and pie eyed... But I am all for trying- if there is some interest.
Kev- we should get out again sometime real soon... Being limited to a canoe on Glass Lake means I am reliant on good weather and little (or NO) wind... It is hard to convince myself to load up the canoe sometimes when there are thirty horses and a Starcraft tied to my dock, you know?
If some guys want to try a Fall gathering, I will do all I can... But some October weekends are already taken by business trips and an Columbus Day Weekend fishing bash down on Long Beach Island in New Jersey with my best friend from my youth in Niskayuna... Nice having a buddy with some watefront on Barnaget Bay during the "Fall Blitz"!!! We have been skunked the past two seasons, but it never fails to be one helluva' good time!
Anyone dare do another Saturday on Snyders? Or wait 'till the lake grows a roof? Anyone is welcome anytime I am around anyways- so just get in touch!!!

As you can see from the pics Mr Jigs (you had previously asked about the launch) we just put our boats right in there at the front yard, pretty easy walk , which is also used as the cooking area, eating & drinking area, sleeping area for some, fire pit ... it's all right there. Don't need to drive anywhere the whole time.  I am a bit jealous of Jimmy's sweet little spot there, might not be a huge lake or be in a remote location ... but he's right on the water and that's all that matters !!! Never know what your going to catch either. BB

Your welcome Perch, it wasn't quite right with out you there representing those colorful and tasty perch. And thanks Brian for the info. I have to agree it must be nice livin on the lake like Jimmy. But It may be a good thing I don't, Cause I'd be one worthless, broke, divorced, out of work bum due to fishin 7 days a week, lol hell I'd end up havin to make a boat like the lawn chair boat from earlier.
