Name your 5 favorite....

bucktail streamers.  In no special order mine are:
black nose dace
brown & yellow
mickey finn
black nose dace...thunder creek style
emerald shinner...thunder creek style

    I dont tie many bucktail streamers except for
     
    clousers
    blacknosed dace.

    I pretty much throw clousers for wipers and smallies and deceivers for strippers.
     
    I like swinging mickey finns for spring steelhead.  The red seems to get the males fired up a bit.

    My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

    Dollar bills will work better for strippers, use the decievers for stripers.

    I think I'll stick with the white deceiver.  The strippers can't resist it, usually. 
     
    I was out and about late friday night from 10:30 - 2 a.m.  Got a few takes on the whitie but no stripper would commit.  **** wenches.

          With my vast knowledge of streamers my choices usually run to : the silver one; the black winged one with the gold body; the gold, red & green one;  the pale yellow one with the peacock wings, and that all black one with the little bit of red in it.  Hope that helps.
           Also, the tandem twenty rig must be used only as an attractant.  They feed almost exclusively on ones and fives.  Try chumming with ones till you get some action, then use the 20's to get them close.  The best line to use is: "You have really nice eyes".  Also a folded up two can be used as an artifical 20 in dim light.
