Big Tuna , those are some hogs. I've never got any like that local, most seem like they quit growing around 24"-25" for me ! I've seen pictures of some hogs out of French Creek over the years. Erie Walleye don't count here they are all "pigs" !

Strong gusty winds blowing out of the south yesterday followed by strong gusty winds coming from the north today.  I'd say  Pymie should be well mixed and, the fish swimming around in circles with their eyes crossed.

Good luck to yinz who make it out this weekend, catch a bunch......... 10-4?

No. I took the boat up to shenango wednesday and checked it out. Smooth motor. I got down to 1.2 trolling speed on the gps. Perfect for pulling those harnesses, huh. Didn't run it full bore yet as i'm breaking it in slowly. It'll be ready for the Pymy bite next month.

That's great Ken, a rough running motor or even worse, one that stalls and won't restart  can take the fun out of trolling .  I installed a set of G-3 spark plugs in my 15 this spring and so far I'm pleased (on short runs) at the easier restarts and smoother idle speeds.   Looking forward to all day trolling and hoping the results will be the same during the hotter weather.

Have fun on your run at Pymie.

Looks like 50 to me!  50 million... I've never managed to trap a fathead minnow.  Unless by "trapping" you include trapping them in my bucket after handing over some $$.  Looks like a good haul.  Those things are supposed to breed like flies when they get established.  I'd love to make a small pond for them.

Hey......... who ya callin' a fathead?????

That sure as hell is a good haul and I thought it looked like 50, give or take a few hundred.  But I don't know if they would be classified "fish bait" or "bait fish"???  Stupid rules!!!

Are ya still required to maintain a sales receipt when in possession of more then 50 store bought fishes/baits for fishing???

Dude, dig a hole, fill with water, buy a doz. Shiners or Fatheads, FEED 'EM fRUTTY Pebbles & by Aug. u will have 1000's ov bait sz. fishes. try it fishin' been very very good to me  think this yr. the added drift wood & mild winter helped with only a sm die off. This fall might buy a doz. Shiners & start from scratch again.

 To bad mostly use artificial.

Supposed to have separate containers for each fisher with no more than a days worth (50) or maybe 2 days worth ov 100 total.

crappy

Yes they multiply like mosquitos & files.

They say and I agree any day is a good day to fish. However from many years of experience yesterday is the best day to fish not today. On an extended week long trip last week was the week to be fishing not this week. I doubt I am the only one who has heard how good it was yesterday or last week.
