Enough of winter,I'm ready for spring. There has been NO SNOW on the ground locally, tonight heavy rain with above freezing temps, then more rain on Sun but the temps are going to drop like a rock Monday but the precip.will be gone so no snow then.I really can't complain 'cause the snow is a pain.

Well it was nice and most ice we had is gone if not today then tomorrow for sure. Supposed to get a chunk of snow on the hill next week. Wait and see if it makes it down this far ..........
Fixed the ps line on the truck only to find the bracket that holds the radius arm on is rotted off . It is now for sale or waiting for a repair in the spring

I read that the weather isn't impacting the LFZ....They're slaying them in the church hole.

I'm sure the information sources concerning the  SR are much more timely and reliable in Ohio than here in NYS.

I've heard of some decent action at times..
. Currently pounding rain for a while now. 2+ foot le warning is Inot effect now though. Just like I thought, this winter is doing the warm, rain, cold, snow, that pattern... although, I think this one coming is gonna stick around for a little. Ground was finally froze up but will be thawed out mostly before snow starts this evening. I feel bad for the ice fishers. Just when there was fishable ice starting up, we get pounced with 40 degree rain...now 2 foot of snow.. makes for bad conditions. By days, before the snow starts, all creeks should be blowing out

That was one gorgeous calm when the wind died down and the sun came out... everything freezing up now with squalls starting to form now. Power out in areas as well

North sandy and fish creek are still ice bound for cfs readings but the gauge height for no. San. Is is 5 feet above what it was this morning. Fish creek is 4 feet higher in gauge height, North branch salmon is 2k, and pineville is up 300+... there's a a lot of water out there right now. Not sure about what the reservoir is like. I'm sure it was frozen over recently... water might get big again for a few days

The weather has had such a strange effect here this year . Thunder , lightning and rainbows yesterday . Back to wind and freezing temps today .
Still no snow events over here on the east but I think some will happen this sat , figures.

Just for site - thread discussion /
Guys have been out on the Great Lake with outboards trolling .
From what I have seen some VERY nice trout are being caught along the eastern basin shoreline .
Now only if I can hit the powerball !!

Wanna bet???

Stupid snow, I had to shovel my walks and steps TWICE today in my little piece of Penn's Woods.  Could be worse I guess, a few miles to my northwest is to see another 6 to 8" tonight.

Just looking at the radar and I have but one thing to say to the guyz muup in parts of the "Empire State".  Sucks to be you... 10-4!!

Seriously, to all needing to be on the highways and byways in this weather, Godspeed in your travels.

PS.......  Godbless the "saltshakers" doing their best to make the streets and highways safer.

Haven't heard about your area Clint, you expecting a bunch this round or will it blow over your 10-20?
